Foiled Faced In Joist/Batten System. These panels are designed to fit between existing joists onto battens or between battens on concrete subfloors. Measuring 350mm in width they fit a 400 mm joist spacing (Joists 50 mm). They feature grooves at 200 mm spacing which hold 16 mm pipework. The solid EPS construction provides insulation reducing downward heat loss. Panels are foil-coated which promotes even heat distribution when in contact with the underside of the wooden flooring. These in-joist boards are simpler to install than other in-joist underfloor heating methods. Removing the need for separate spreader plates and insulation systems reduces costs and allows quicker installation. There is also no increase in floor height, allowing flooring to be placed on top of joists as normal.
